Ever wanted to own a piece of Britney history, well unfortunately you will need at least £10,000, as that’s how much a t-shirt worn by Britney is expected to fetch at auction:

A MICKEY MOUSE CLUB T-shirt BRITNEY SPEARS signed ‘I love you grandma’ on is set to fetch up to $20,000 (GBP10,000) at auction. Spears owned the shirt during her stint as a star of the kids show and gave it to one of her grandmothers as a gift.

The clothing item will now be a highlight of the upcoming GottaHaveIt.com Rock + Roll Pop Art Auction, which starts on 21 July (08). The shirt is also signed by Spears’ former Mickey Mouse Club castmates, including Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

Record producer Rodney Jerkins is set to reinvent Britney in order to stage a comeback, according to the latest news reports:

Top music producer Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins is determined to “reinvent” Britney Spears and launch a successful career comeback for the troubled star. Grammy-winning producer Jerkins, who produced remixes for Spears’ tracks Overprotected and I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, insists her new music will resurrect her troubled public image, according to People.com.

He says, “I’m trying some new things (with Spears)… I’ve always worked with Britney and I love working with her. “I’m try to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project. It’s about to be her time again.”

Oh and I am in the process of changing the layout, as you can probably see, although I loved the old one, it was very dark, and I just felt something more positive and summery would be good for a change.. Hope you all like it. Also, just to let you know, the site is now the proud owner of two more TFL approved fanlistings fot two Britney songs - ‘Lucky’, and ‘Born to make you Happy’. Neither are open yet, but will be worked on during the next week. And finally, yes I have changed the name of the site just slightly.. we are now Britney Spears Network.. just because I think it fits with the domain url, and also because this site is just growing into such a larger network.. So that’s about it.. plenty more updates soon.

Wellit’s great news for Britney, as she has been given permission now to spend time with her boys overnight, after the latest custody hearing:

BRITNEY SPEARS has been given permission to spend the night with her two sons, after a new custody hearing in Los Angeles. Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline returned to court on Tuesday (24Jun08) to review the custody status of Sean Preston, two, and one year old Jayden James.
The singer was previously only allowed three monitored visits with the children per week, after she was committed to a psychiatric facility to treat an alleged bi-polar disorder. These did not include overnight visitation.
Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini admits the three-hour closed-court hearing went well for Spears. No details of the changes have been released, but TMZ.com claims Spears has been awarded overnight visitation rights.

Well I have had a few teething problems with it, but finally the Britney Media section is open.. Now I have lots to add so over the next few days the content will be added.. Back in January, Britney appeared in the british OK magazine, and the pictures of her and her boys are just so gorgeous.. so today I finally got my scanner to co-operate with me and I scanned the whole article and photoshoot. Just a quick site update, I have a lot more planned to do over the next few days. I have the gorgeous British OK magazine with the pics of Britney with her boys to scan, but my scanner has gone a bit dead on me, lol.. maybe I overworked it recently. Anyway I am really hoping to get that done today or tomorrow. Also the discography section and media section need working on. As yet I the media section hasn’t been set up, so I have to be patient for that one. That’s about it for now.
